Engedi was named the Runner Up for the 2009 Courageous Leadership Award!  This award offered by the Willow Creek Association and World Vision honors churches impacting the AIDS pandemic.  We are celebrating how God is using our community to make a true and lasting difference!

The country of Zambia is becoming increasingly devastated as approximately 300 people continue to die each day from the AIDS virus. While the virus spreads throughout Zambia, the family structure and stability is progressively weakened as children become orphaned. This country roughly the size of Texas has the highest number of orphans (750,000) anywhere in the world. 

Engedi is partnering with World Hope International in Zambia. World Hope is a faith-based relief and development organization alleviating suffering and injustice through education, enterprise and community health.  Take a look at a powerful video highlighting the impact our partnership is making!
