Purpose of the Position

To help create a culture of worship where Engedi Students HS attendees engage with God in worship with excellence and passion during Engedi Student HS gatherings. This role will work closely with the Worship Arts Pastor to help shape worship environments that reflect the heart and culture of Engedi Worship within Engedi Students HS.

Role Specific Skills and Qualifications

  • Competent in Planning Center Software
  • Can lead while playing an instrument (guitar, keys, etc.) or recruit and resource an instrumentalist
  • Proven leadership ability as a worship leader

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate weekly worship and production team for Engedi High School gatherings, retreats, and other Engedi Students events as needed
  • Utilize Planning Center Software to plan programming and schedule teams
  • Oversee weekly communication to Students worship and production teams
  • Recruit new vocalists, instrumentalists, and production team members
  • Oversee the system for onboarding new team members
  • Work with Engedi’s Creative & Worship Pastor to develop the overall worship culture and structure including gatherings, rehearsals, production, etc.
  • Help empower each team member to grow in their giftings
  • Facilitate weekly rehearsals
  • Collaborate with the Engedi Students team

 

Other Responsibilities

  • Participate in all monthly staff meetings (2nd Monday of the month)
  • Participate in all staff prayer meetings (every Monday)
  • Participate in all Worship Nights  
  • Attend staff retreats (twice annually, one of which is overnight)
  • Participate in Engedi Students weekly planning meetings

 

Other Details

  • Part-time, 20 hours/week position including vacation and personal days, cell phone reimbursement, subsidized onsite daycare at Holland Campus, and matching 403b contributions 
  • Reports to Engedi Next Gen and Kids Pastor while working closely with the Creative and Worship Arts Pastor
