PRODUCTION DIRECTOR

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Production Director will demonstrate a strong commitment to Jesus Christ while directly overseeing the vision and operation of all production elements to our Sunday Experience (Audio/Video/Lighting) across all our locations

The Creative Arts Department exists to worship God and advance the love of Jesus worldwide.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Oversee technical aspects of worship gathering, productions, events and gatherings at all Engedi sites 
  • Coordinate with other Engedi church ministry teams, including other campuses, to educate and promote technical excellence in all our gatherings and events
  • Recruit, train and oversee all production volunteers at the Holland Campus
  • Oversee maintenance of all audio, video/live stream, and lighting components
  • Ensure appropriate tech support is provided for other church events and gatherings outside of the weekend gatherings including weddings and funerals
  • Work with other Engedi ministries within the church needing tech or production resources 
  • Oversee the Production department budget and goals in collaboration with the Worship Arts Pastor
  • Oversee and develop production department staff directly at the Holland campus and indirectly at all other campuses
  • Oversees stage designs, and all visuals for Sunday’s Experience
  • Execute on the pre- and post-production elements of Engedi Music including songwriting, production, recording, engineering, etc
  • Implement systems and structures that help maintain consistency and help to improve production during Sunday worship experiences

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as primary coordinator for large scale church events and gatherings, (Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, conferences, Awaken Nights, etc.) including the management of calendars, deadlines, volunteers and project tracking
  • Coordinate and implement all Sunday Host support elements for weekend gatherings (host documents, scheduling, run through meetings etc.)
  • Assist with scheduling and communication for Sunday teams (breakfast team, hosts)
  • Assist the Creative Pastor with planning and execution of team initiatives (Creative Team Nights, 12 week year goals, etc.)
  • Onboard and manage new volunteers into CCB and Planning Center (auditions, scheduling, ect)
  • Support and coordinate volunteer focused events (Team Nights, Worship Nights, Team Hangs, songwriting retreat)
  • Maintain organization of supplies, equipment, and digital resources
  • Manage financial processes (credit card reconciliation, check requests, etc.)
  • Help support initiatives and coordinate events for Engedi Music
  • Track analytics and metrics for the Creative Team along with managing budgets for large scale events
  • Other administrative duties as needed

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in all monthly staff meetings (2nd Monday of the month)
  • Participate in all staff prayer meetings (every Monday)
  • Participate in all Worship Nights 
  • Attend all-staff and director retreats (four per year, two are overnight)

OTHER DETAILS

  • Full-time, 45 hours/week position including vacation and personal days, cell phone reimbursement, subsidized onsite daycare at Holland Campus, matching 403b contributions, and healthcare benefits.   
  • Reports to Creative & Worship Pastor
