ENGEDI STUDENTS PROGRAM ASSISTANT

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Engedi Students exists to advance the kingdom revolution of Jesus worldwide. We are seeking a Students Program Assistant to keep our department organized, focused, and excellent in the execution of all programming needs. In particular, this person will work to create an engaging and effective guest experience system.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Deeply committed follower of Jesus
  • Affirms Engedi’s mission, core beliefs, and core values by word and example
  • Ability to carry out the vision of the ministry at the campus
  • Excellent administrative skills – including the ability to set goals, facilitate advance planning and effectively manage ministry and personal schedules
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Team player – humble, willing to defer to others, supportive of other Engedi ministries
  • Is a partner of Engedi or is willing to become one upon joining staff
  • Tithes
  • Is in a CABLE (small) group or is willing to become a part of one upon joining staff

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Engedi Students team to plan for the future
  • Assist with events and projects including weekly programming, guest experience, and special events
  • Execute the first time student follow up process and decision follow up process
  • Manage ministry communications to parents and students
  • Maintain current database and dashboard for middle and high school 
  • Manage the volunteer assimilation process
  • Oversee registration, promotion, and payments for all student ministry events
  • Assist with financial needs such as purchasing, expensing and tracking
  • Coordinate with other departments and office staff as needed

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in monthly staff meetings (2nd Monday of the month)
  • Participate in staff prayer meetings each month (every Monday)
  • Participate in Engedi Students weekly planning meeting
  • Attend staff retreats (twice annually, one of which is overnight)
  • Participate in most Worship Nights

OTHER DETAILS

  • Part-time, 20 hours/week position including vacation and personal days, cell phone reimbursement, subsidized onsite daycare at Holland Campus, solitude days, and matching 403b contributions 
  • Reports to Next Gen + Kids Pastor
