Purpose of the Position
Coordinate volunteer staffing and implement curriculum for weekend services. Develop strategies and a volunteer team, to provide a safe and nurturing environment for ages birth-Pre-K. Assist in promoting the mission and vision of Engedi Kids to families.

- Is a partner of Engedi or is willing to become one upon joining staff
- Passion and burden for the next generation to know Jesus
- Tithes to the local church
- Is in a CABLE (small) group or is willing to become a part of one upon joining staff
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build relationships and network with other Early Childhood ministries both locally and nationally
- Collaborate with the Engedi Kids staff team in order to cast vision for the mission of Engedi Kids ministry
- Work closely with Kids pastor to design and implement Sunday morning curriculum for kids birth-pre-k at all campuses
- Actively invite new volunteers into serving
- Work closely with volunteer coordinator and Kids Pastor to provide leadership, training, support and oversight to volunteer leaders and their teams
- Oversee volunteer schedule in the early childhood area, recruit and find replacements as needed
- Develop leadership structure (leaders and coaches) at a healthy rate of the growth of the ministry
- Work closely with Kids pastor to design and implement Sunday morning curriculum
- Oversee and maintain the early childhood classrooms and large group areas
- Contribute to the planning and execution of special events
- Coordinate childcare/programming for special services including Good Friday, Partner Meeting and Worship Nights
- Oversee purchasing for early childhood area
- Note: This position requires the availability and willingness to work Sunday mornings
Other Responsibilities
- Participate in monthly staff meetings (1st Monday of each month)
- Participate in Kids Team Monday meeting
- Participate in Kids team planning meetings (2x’s per year)
- Participate in Worship Nights
- Attend staff retreats (twice annually, one of which is overnight)
Essential Details
- Part-time, 25 hours/week position including vacation and personal days, cell phone reimbursement, subsidized onsite daycare at Holland Campus, and matching 403b contributions
- Reports to Kids Pastor
