Purpose of the Position

To advance the Kingdom revolution of Jesus by ensuring the administrative functionality and effectiveness of the Global Department at Engedi Church.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain department database and update department metrics 
  • Complete scheduling, registration, and facility reservations for department programming
  • Compile and submit global prayer requests
  • Purchase materials and supplies needed for department programming
  • Manage communication for department email account
  • Maintain department calendar
  • Assist in managing department social media accounts including posting content and responding to interactions
  • Assist in supporting short-term trip preparation and logistics including: 
    • Securing trip insurance and visas as needed for all travelers
    • Depositing donations as needed
    • Completing background checks for all travelers
    • Purchasing trip curriculum as needed
  • Provide support as needed for special events including Global Focus Sundays (1-2x/year), Commissioning (2-3x/year), Tread, Global Volunteer Rally, Kingdom Builders fundraisers, global guest speakers, etc.
  • Coordinate reentry gifts for returning long-term workers as needed
  • Support general department administrative needs
  • Assist with general staff and receptionist duties as needed 


Other Responsibilities

  • Participate in all monthly staff meetings (2nd Monday of the month)
  • Participate in all staff prayer meetings (every Monday)
  • Participate in all Worship Nights 
  • Attend staff retreats (twice annually, one of which is overnight)


Details

  • Part-time, 15 hours/week position including vacation and personal days, cell phone reimbursement, subsidized onsite daycare at Holland Campus, and matching 403b contributions 
  • Reports to Global Pastor
