Alan was born in Indiana, where he discovered his call to pastoral ministry. After graduating high school, he attended Hope College, where Engedi Church became a home of faith, fellowship, and community. During his time at Hope, he interned in the Students department and led an outreach ministry to welcome freshmen before joining staff as Middle School Coordinator. Still a passionate and energetic kid at heart, Alan now channels that same zeal into walking alongside students and helping them know Jesus. He recently graduated from Hope College and is pursuing a Master of Divinity at Western Theological Seminary while enjoying golf and friends.
