First Impressions Coordinator

 

Purpose of the Position

The position exists to advance the Kingdom revolution of Jesus by ensuring an excellent guest experience for all those who attend Engedi’s Sunday gatherings and special events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and develop volunteers for the Holland Campus to execute each role with excellence, a strong sense of mission and infectious enthusiasm.
  • Equip and empower volunteer leaders to lead teams within the ministry through coaching relationships
  • Manage volunteer information and scheduling through Engedi’s database platforms 
  • Manage all forms of communication to volunteers and relevant staff members including emails, phone calls, texts and in person meetings in order to meet the needs of the ministry
  • Collaborate with the Community Life Director on  annual goals and budget for First Impressions
  • Complete monthly expense reports with accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain updated orders and tracking for all First Impression ministry supply needs
  • Develop a network of relationships with other churches who are further along than Engedi for learning best practices, inspiring innovation and collaboration.
  • Seek out opportunities for collaboration with other Engedi ministries
  • Establish best practices and systems for resourcing all Engedi campuses for a consistent First Impressions ministry experience church-wide.
  • Carry out all the above mentioned duties and responsibilities, as well as those not stated above, that would be necessary to ensure the success of the Engedi staff team and the flourishing of the Engedi family as it relates to the First Impressions ministry

Other Responsibilities

  • Participate in twice a month staff meetings (1st and 3rd Mondays of the month)
  • Participate in most staff prayer meetings (every Monday)
  • Participate in most Worship Nights 
  • Attend staff retreats (twice annually)

 

Details

  • Part-time position 20 hours with benefits including vacation and personal days, cell phone reimbursement, on site day care at Chicago Drive offices and matching 403b contributions
  • Reports to the Community Life Director
